Terms of Service

The rules for using Chorus: accounts, plans and billing, AI usage, acceptable use, your content, and what happens if something goes wrong.

Last updated: 18 September 2026.

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service are between you and Chorus AI ("Chorus", "we"). Chorus AI operates the Chorus app at sharechorus.com; in these terms, "Chorus" means that app and the related services.

By creating an account, subscribing, or using Chorus, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Chorus. If you use Chorus on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. What Chorus is

Chorus is a collaborative AI workspace. People invited to the same conversation share one thread, each message can be answered by one of several third-party AI models, and anyone can work privately in a side chat before deciding what to bring back to the group.

The AI models are supplied by third parties and reached through OpenRouter or through your own provider keys. Chorus does not create the models and cannot promise how any model will answer. See sections 9 and 10.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher.
  • You must give accurate account information and keep it current. Accounts are personal: keep your password to yourself, and do not share one login with several people.
  • You can create an account with an email address and password, or with Google sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Tell us promptly at support@sharechorus.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, are used for abuse, or put the service or other users at risk. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why.

4. Plans, subscriptions and billing

  • Plans: Free, individual plans (Weekly, Lite, Personal, Plus), Business per seat, "Your own AI" (bring your own provider keys) and Enterprise by arrangement. What each plan includes is described on the pricing page and inside the app.
  • Automatic renewal: paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period (weekly or monthly) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in billing; you keep the plan until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Payments: processed by Stripe, in US dollars, using the payment method you provide. You authorise recurring charges for the plan and seats you choose.
  • Seats: Business is billed per seat; adding a seat increases the charge, prorated for the remaining period. Removing seats takes effect as described in billing.
  • Price changes: we may change prices or what a plan includes. For changes that matter we email workspace owners at least 30 days before they take effect, and you may cancel before then.
  • Taxes: prices exclude taxes, which are added where required. You are responsible for any tax arising from your use of Chorus, other than taxes on our income.
  • Failed payments: if a renewal fails and is not fixed, the workspace falls back to the Free plan, and the paid features and included AI usage stop.

5. AI usage, tokens and limits

  • Plans that include AI usage come with an allowance of tokens that refreshes each billing period. AI answers consume from that allowance; messages people post to each other without asking the AI do not.
  • To keep an allowance usable across the whole period, usage is also paced: no more than 20% of the monthly allowance in any 12 hours and no more than 50% in any week. The app shows the current limits and when each resets.
  • Different models consume different amounts of usage for the same question, and longer conversations consume more than short ones. The app shows this when you choose a model.
  • Tokens you buy separately (top-ups) never expire and are used after the included allowance for the period. They are not blocked by the pacing limits above.
  • Tokens have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money. Unused included allowance does not roll over to the next period.
  • You must not attempt to circumvent usage limits, resell access, or use Chorus as a general-purpose model API.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: try the free plan first, the first 14 days of a new subscription can be refunded within the conditions described there, and we fix genuine service failures with credits or a refund.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Chorus to:

  • break any law, or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property and privacy;
  • create or share content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that incites violence;
  • attempt to generate malware, phishing, fraud, or instructions for causing harm, or to circumvent the safety measures of a model provider;
  • upload content you do not have the right to share, or personal data of others without a lawful basis;
  • probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or breach its security or authentication, without our written permission;
  • scrape, crawl, or automate the service beyond normal interactive use, or resell it or provide it as a model API;
  • impersonate someone else, or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • send spam or bulk unsolicited content through invitations or shares.

You are responsible for what you and the people you invite do in your conversations. We may remove content or suspend access where we reasonably believe these rules are broken, or where a model provider requires it.

8. Your content

  • You keep your content. You own the messages you write and the files you upload. We do not claim ownership of them and we do not use them to train models.
  • The licence we need: you give us permission to store, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to run the service, which includes sending it to the model provider chosen for each message, and showing it to the people who share the conversation.
  • Shared by design: everything in a shared thread is visible to everyone invited to that conversation. Side chats stay private until their author shares them. Do not put anything in a shared conversation that the people there should not see.
  • Responsibility: you confirm you have the rights needed to upload and share your content, and that doing so does not break the law or anyone's rights.
  • Deletion: deleting a conversation or your account removes the content as described in the Privacy Policy; copies may remain briefly in backups until they age out.

9. AI outputs

  • AI answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when they sound confident. Verify anything important before you rely on it.
  • Chorus is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, tax or otherwise), and its answers are not such advice.
  • Outputs are generated by third-party models under their own terms. Depending on the model and your use, they may not be unique to you, and their accuracy is not guaranteed.
  • You are responsible for how you use an answer, including checking it for rights, accuracy and fitness for your purpose.

10. Third-party services

Chorus depends on third parties: model providers (through OpenRouter, or directly when you connect your own keys), Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for file storage and network, Railway and Neon for hosting and database, Resend for email, Sentry for error reports, and Google for optional sign-in. Their services have their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability is not something we control. If you connect your own provider keys, your usage with those providers is billed by them directly and is subject to their terms.

11. Our intellectual property

Chorus, the Chorus name and logo, the interface, and the code behind it belong to Chorus AI. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond using the service as described. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them without obligation or payment.

12. Availability and changes to the service

We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance by email to workspace owners. We may add, change or remove features; if we discontinue a plan you are paying for, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your content. Self-serve plans do not carry a service-level commitment; Enterprise agreements may set one separately.

13. Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using Chorus and delete your account at any time in workspace settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you materially break these terms, if payment fails and is not fixed, if we are required to by law, or if your use puts the service or other users at risk.
  • Where practical, we give notice and a chance to fix the problem first. For serious abuse or legal requirements we may act immediately.
  • On termination, your right to use Chorus ends; sections that by their nature should survive (content ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law) continue to apply.

14. Disclaimers

Chorus is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate. Nothing here excludes warranties or rights that the law does not allow to be excluded, including your consumer rights.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Chorus is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights, including your right to a refund or repair for a faulty service where the law provides one.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Chorus against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the service in breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights, to the extent permitted by law. We will tell you about any such claim and let you take part in the defence.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and the courts of Brazil have jurisdiction, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live, including the right, where the law provides it, to bring proceedings in your own place of residence. Before going to court, write to support@sharechorus.com: most problems are solved faster that way.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The current version is always on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For changes that matter, we will email you at least 30 days beforehand. If you keep using Chorus after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
